Weapons have changes drastically over the years. From the time of the caveman with weapons fashioned from wood and stone to today’s weapons fashioned from highly technological advances. The most innovative weapons used for not only defense but also competitions were medieval swords. Ranging from plain swords used for defense purposes to the most ornate swords for show and status. Swords of that era were used in dragon slayings, rebellions, competitions, tournaments, and self-defense. The Medieval Era is one of the most fascinating periods of our world’s history. Those who study and collect weapons from the era know the value of the things learned from the Middle Ages.
