She felt bad and seemed to be taking it very hard
This female doctor had performed surgery on this man, but it was unsuccessful. She had been walking around thinking about what she could have done differently to save this man’s life. She felt bad and seemed to be taking it very hard. Her friends tried consoling her but nothing prevailed. She had lost her desire to practice medicine and had lost confidence in her abilities. Her friends called all her family and colleagues together to do an intervention with a psychiatrist/therapist. The psychiatrist performed covert hypnosis on her to help her gain her esteem and now she is one of the top surgeons in her field.
