Optimize Your Health and Weight Loss By Walking
Many of us have this dual goal: (1) lose weight and (2) become more healthy. One way to achieve these goals, in part, is to take up walking. I walk every chance I get. I really love this exercise because there are many benefits. First of all, it is a great way to improve your cardiovascular fitness. Your heart and lungs love it when you walk—it is so good for them. Add to this the calories burned, and if you are consistent, you really will lose pounds. Twenty minutes three times per week is probably the minimum for health and weight loss but an hour a day of walking is optimal.
To increase the effectiveness of your walking routine you should really integrate it into a weight loss plan such as the Sonoma Diet, Fat Loss 4 Idiots, or the South Beach Diet. These popular diets recommend walking to get in top shape. To help you choose the program that’s best you can read a Fat Loss 4 Idiots review or one of the reviews of the other diet programs.
Whatever diet plan you select, walking and eating right will help you to achieve your weight loss goals.
