I wonder what I’ll get paid this week..
Let me explain my situation. I worked for a big company. They just laid me off on December 31st. And that, of course, created a lot of tension in my life. It was an interesting and tough experience at the same time. But it has happened. Sometimes getting laid off is easier than fighting a case of gingivitis.
The positive side of it is that I earned a six month severance package and that was cool. But a problem has occurred.
Anyway, in my reckoning, I should have been getting paid more because they stopped deducting for my 401K plan. But now, I’m getting less. I don’t know why.
