My son just finished his first year at the university.  He lived on campus in a dorm for that first year.  He has moved back to his room here at the house just for a few weeks.  He has had a part time job for the past year and a half.  He pretty much supports himself.  We only pay for his tuition.  He is planning on moving in with two of his friends next weekend.  He bought some used bedroom furniture from a friend.  He will need a queen sized mattress for the frame.  I saw him looking in the classified section of the newspaper for a mattress.  Oh my goodness!  I told him it is not a good idea to buy used mattresses.  He doesn’t see any harm in this but I would certainly never do that.

I just finished watching the movie Nightmare Before Christmas. The movie is a bit creepy. I really can’t forget the skull that is just so ugly and mean. Not only that I watched the Nightmare Before Christmas, I also watched the Grinch! This is really mean and now I can’t go to sleep.      I am just glad I have my Christmas lamps that mom bought. The lamps not only have colorful designs and illuminating lights, Christmas songs are also being played. I am really glad the lamps calmed me down and made me realize no monster or Grinch could ever spoil the Christmas.

With the economy like it is I can hardly stand to waste.  I grew up in a home where lights were left on, televisions were on all day long, and the heat was set on high all day long.  There was little being done to cut costs let along help the environment.
