For me, nothing can exemplify mountain photography like images of the Great Smoky Mountains. You have to experience the sun setting from Morton’s Overlook in the Smokies or watch a sunrise from behind them at the Foothills Parkway.  It is impossible to describe this properly with words.  A photograph that perfectly captures this moment will say what words cannot.  That is what I strive for each time I approach a scene like these and others.  I have dedicated myself to photographing as much of the splendor and beauty of the Smoky Mountains for as long as God will allow me.
