I’ve been playing guitar for a large part of my life.

I began playing at age 9 or 10 and (with a few time-outs here and there) have continued to play. I’m now in my early 40s so that kind of puts a perspective on how long I’ve messed around with the instrument.

Although I can hold my own in most settings, I should really be a better guitar player than I am considering how long I’ve done it.

One of my problems has been finding a teaching method conducive to my time schedule and learning style.

I think the Learn Guitar DVD program might be the best way for me to forge ahead.
