Easy Guitar Songs: Teach Them What They Want.
I once had a really cool job of teaching guitar at a local music store.
Although the pay wasn’t the best, I did get the chance to interact with many young guitar students and help them on their way of becoming better guitar players.
One of the first things I did when I got a new student was to assess how much they knew and what they wanted to learn.
If all they wanted to know was how to play easy guitar songs for the boy scout campfire nights, then I would obviously come up with a different approach than I would for more advanced students.
